Back to School/College/University !

Now as we all know it's back to school and college soon. Yawn 1 yes,yes I know you don't want to hear it,But in many ways going back to school or starting at college or University is a positive thing !

If you have had a tough time that you want to put behind you or just feel like a change in yourself it's the perfect opportunity to do so !
You can get new stuff like a new Bag,Clothes,Stationary well it's an excuse for shopping isn't it and who's going to complain about that ? Well certainly NOT me ! haha XD

As I know myself for some people going to a new environment is really daunting and worrying, I was very quiet in school and kept my self to myself and due to that many people walked over me and I didn't really enjoy school at all (which is disappointing because if I was the way I am now in college as I am in school I'm sure I would have loved it) but as I was saying. It is a great opportunity to become a new you and that is exactly what I did I decided enough was enough with being walked all over. If you are really shy then just think well I'm going to a new place so nobody will even know I'm shy anyway ! for all they know you could be super confident so go ahead and be that person !

I'm so sorry for these ramblings on but i have wanted to do a post like this for a while and with it being back to school I found it the perfect chance to do so :)

I thought as I'm writing about back to school I'd show you what I've picked up for going back to college,Now as I do Painting and Decorating (I know not your typical girl subject !) I don't really need much stationary so what I get I like to be fun,quirky and have my personality in it so here's what I got :)

The Naked Face Campaign

So I meant to write this a while back but I was plucking up the courage and seen as though I have nothing to review I thought I'd do this.

The idea of the Naked face campaign is to show that everybody has imperfections and things that they do and don't like about themselves,Lets get started there are three things I'm going to do...

1.List 3 things I DO and DON'T like about my self and why

2.Post a picture of my Naked face ! :0

AND

3.Tag some people to do it aswell !

I'm going to start with the positives :) 3 Things I like about my appearance.

1: My eyes I just generally like my eye colour and I get compliments on them more than anything else about myself so they must be something going right there haha !

2: The fact that I don't really get spots (pretty clear skin) I only tend to get spots if I'm really stressed out to the max so I'm happy about that.

3: My lips I just like the shape of my lips and i think that they are quite full so I'm pleased to have my lips :3

3 Things I don't like about myself

1:I don't like how sometimes (and it tends to be in the summer) how my skin goes really oily as it's just not very attractive.

2: The redness of my skin with no makeup on although I know this is easily fixed with makeup and other products I go through phases of this redness.

3:I dislike how thin my hair is because it just looks a bit flat sometimes although I'm grateful it's not too thick.

AND HERE WE GO THE NAKED FACED ME ! :O

And finally I tag Every single one of you reading this to do this and of course feel in no way pressured not everyone is confident enough and believe me a few years ago I really would not have done this with the problems I had with not thinking positive and low self esteem and confidence and now I'm pretty much the opposite I'm positive As much as I can ! (If you would like to know how i stay positive and happy feel free to comment!) I always read them and love seeing you replying and reading :)

Beauty on a Budget !

Sorry it has been a while sine i wrote a blog post I feel awful !
Anyway to the point,
   We all know that sometimes adding to our makeup collections and buying the bare necessities for our beauty regimes Isn't always the most beneficial thing for our poor purses and bank balances !
So here are a few things I find useful to help me feel like i'm stocked up on my essentials.

Cheaper priced makeup brands.

Now we all know that everyone loves NARS,MAC and other high end makeup brands but some people just simply can't afford to buy this makeup or would like to try similar products to the high end ones in the lower price range to see if the high end is worth purchasing for themselves !
There are many cheaper and amazing brands out there like Rimmel,Sleek,Maybelline,
MUA(Make Up Academy) and many more.
For example i love the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' foundation I find it has great coverage for my skin and leaves my skin with a dewy look to it which is great for summer ! :D
The brand Make Up Academy (Which I think is exclusive to Superdrug) has Lipsticks they are highly pigmented and leave your lips feeling nourished. I have two of the MUA Lipsticks one in shade 13 Which is a vibrant red and shade 14 which is lovely nude shade. Both of these are £1 BARGAIN !! The only downfall i find with the MUA lipsticks especially in the more vibrant shades is that because they don't stain they can smudge easily but overall they are a great lipstick and don't forget only £1. :)
I also own a cream concealer from MUA which I find has great coverage and is perfect for dark circles under the eyes and any blemishes you may have. This is £1.50

Freebies !

Now everybody loves a freebie don't they ?!
You can get great free gifts like lip glosses and hand cream and face wash in magazines Like 'GLAMOUR'
'GLAMOUR' magazine also has samples inside mostly of shampoos but they are good if you was considering to buy the full sized bottle to see if it is right for your hair.

Shopping Cards

The Boots advantage card and the Superdrug Beauty card are a fabulous way to get more for your money. With the Boots card you get 4 point for every £1 you spend in store or online whereas with the superdrug card you only get 1 point for every £1 you spend instore or online but 1 point is better than no point right ?
On both cards for every 100 points you have on your card that is £1 to spend on whatever you please
Plus the Supderdrug card has a mirror on the front which is really handy !
